Psychological Motive:

Shadow always believed he was superior in stealth, agility, and precision compared to Phantom Blade. But Phantom’s battlefield charisma and visible scars made him the "people's hero," while Shadow remained in the dark—unacknowledged, uncelebrated.


Turning Point:

During “Operation Black Echo,” Shadow saved Phantom Blade’s life—only to watch Phantom receive a medal and promotion. This crushed Shadow's spirit. When approached by Commander Black Viper, who offered power, identity, and leadership, Shadow betrayed AEGIS.


Now:

Shadow leads the elite assassin unit Night Veil for the dark side. His goal is not just domination—it’s recognition.
