The Story Begins:
In the heart of Omega City, emergency sirens wailed as buildings crumbled. Ember Street, once a thriving commercial lane, was reduced to flaming debris. Citizens ran, but it was too late for many.
From the smoke emerged Shadowbeast—its eyes glowing like dying stars, claws tearing through steel like paper. The beast had come to hunt the creators of the AEGIS genetic program—seeking vengeance and blood.
AEGIS activated Protocol Cerberus.
Rael Kanine led his elite team, joined by Dr. Elias Granger, the only man who knew how to possibly neutralize the Shadowbeast.
Talia hacked into the city's neural grid to shut off any moonlight-enhancing energy signals—an artificial satellite system designed to boost plant life had become the beast’s regeneration source. Raptor scouted the rooftops, marking the beast’s weak points in infrared.
Major Sharp moved in close—his pulse rifle blasting at the monster’s reinforced shoulders. It roared, sending shockwaves through the battlefield. Buildings shook. Rubble flew.
Rael and Raptor fought side by side while Talia coordinated air support. Dr. Granger, with trembling hands, loaded a syringe containing a reversed gene-blocker. But someone needed to inject it directly into the heart of the beast.
Rael volunteered. Injured but fearless, he charged through the flames, dodging claws, slamming the syringe into the creature's chest. The beast howled in agony, shaking the ground—and then collapsed.
Silence.
The team stood amidst the smoke, bruised but victorious. The Shadowbeast reverted into a human for a brief second—a broken soldier whispering, “I didn’t want this...”—before fading into dust.
---
Epilogue:
Unknown to the team, deep within the shadows, a cloaked figure watched.
Nagesh Nagpal whispered to Don Malvoro, “Well, Shadowbeast was just one of the prototypes... Let’s awaken the others.”
And thus, the war for Omega City had only just begun.
