Stand alone

Brilliant setup, Durgesh! This standalone story narrated by Abhay fits perfectly as a campfire-style horror tale inside your novel. Below is how we can structure it into a mini-novella (standalone chapter) within your main book:

---

📖 Chapter Title: The Demonic Queen of Aashgarh

Story narrated by Abhay in the train compartment (Coach B3)

(Inside the larger novel: "She Was in Coach B3")

🪔 Chapter Summary:

Abhay begins in a sarcastic tone, teasing the previous story as superstition—but then offers his own terrifying story of fact blurred with forgotten history.

✨ CHAPTER BREAKDOWN:

Scene 1: The Lost King

Intro to the myth: Raja Dev Singh, a forgotten king from Rajasthan, erased from history for 300 years.

Returns from war only to find his beloved Rani Deviyani has committed Jauhar after hearing false news of his death.

Dev Singh goes mad with grief and forces his court Tantrik to bring her back from the dead.

Scene 2: The Revival

The Tantrik warns him: the soul has crossed over, and bringing it back is dangerous—many evil souls roam, waiting to possess bodies.

Dev Singh refuses to listen. Ritual is performed again.

A Brahm Rakshashi (a powerful, vampiric female demon) enters the burnt corpse of the queen.

She rises, mutilated but beautiful, kills Dev Singh instantly.

Tantrik locks the cursed room using magical mantras and Dev Singh’s sword as a seal.

He orders the Prime Minister to erase Dev Singh’s existence from history for the sake of humanity.

Scene 3: 300 Years Later

Present day: 4 curious history students (2 boys, 2 girls) looking for a breakthrough in academic fame find mention of the lost king in an obscure manuscript.

They travel to Aashgarh, a decaying abandoned palace, deep in the desert.

Scene 4: Unsealing the Past

The caretaker (who secretly knows the truth) guides them—but warns them not to touch certain areas.

One of the girls (curious, emotional) finds the revival chamber.

She removes the enchanted sword, unknowingly breaking the seal.

The Brahm Rakshashi is unleashed.

Scene 5: The Possession Begins

The demon begins killing them one by one.

She can shift forms, seduce, appear in mirrors, and even speak as lost loved ones.

She kills the caretaker.

Her powers have grown stronger in the dark isolation.

Scene 6: The Final Stand

The surviving students must either reseal the sword (now hidden somewhere in the palace) or burn the palace down completely to trap her again.

Final twist: one of the students might be possessed…
